Chemical Resistance

The epoxy coatings installed by Huinink Infrastructure has been engineered to be chemically resistant. The epoxy primers can be applied on Concrete, Steel, Masonry, cable sheathing and foil. All our products have a medium level of chemical resistance. However Huinink has specialty products to suit your needs if you desire heavy duty resistance. These specialized products will create an protective sealer to withstand extreme chemicals (alkalis and acids).


Huinink have utilized Chemical Resistant Urethane Flooring, and Chemical Resistant Joint Systems for it's customers. Our Urethane Flooring's two component coating with gloss finish offers excellent abrasion resistance, chemical and stain resistance, and color retention.

Mechanical Resistance

Huinink's resin-based epoxy becomes a very strong, gap-filling adhesive. Joints bonded with these epoxy mixtures are often stronger than the fibers that surround them. Our epoxy is an excellent medium for transferring loads from wood fiber to metals. It will serve as an efficient interface for distributing high-point loading over greater surface area than would otherwise be possible. Epoxy resins possess enhanced mechanical, chemical and physical properties, i.e. increased shear and compression strength, resistance in solvents, as well as at high temperatures.

Slip Resistance

There are three factors in ensuring slip resistance, the type of aggregate used, the type of resin used and the quantity (thickness) of the lock coat used. These three components determine how aggressive the slip resistance is. Huinink retains many aggregrates to achieve your desired unique resistance. In industrial and commercial environments including walkways, steps, ramps, factory floors, warehouse floors including pallet truck and tow-motor traffic.

Moisture Resistance

We utilize specific grades of water resistant systems with enhanced performance properties, including but not limited to:

Excellent dielectric properties Vibration, shock, impact and thermal cycling resistance Additionally, they are available for use in a range of viscosities and hardness, cure speeds and colors.

Adequate product protection is essential to prevent premature failure from moisture. Systems are engineered to maintain their physical strength properties, prevent degradation at the substrate adhesive interface, while providing effective sealing capability. Our durable polymeric products have been developed to address specific needs and susceptibility to moisture attack which can cause rupturing, delamination, swelling, cracking, shrinkage, blistering. They effectively mitigate corrosion, have superior resistance to water permeation, adhere well to multiple substrates and provide long term durability after aging. These user friendly, solvent free compositions can withstand a combination of stress, moisture, temperature. Select grades have successfully demonstrated leak proof deployment on metallic substrates in hostile marine environments.
