Lakeshore Road West Culverts

The Lakeshore Road West Culvert Rehabilitation project involved essential structural maintenance to extend the service life of aging concrete culverts located near 1296 Lakeshore Road West in Oakville. The scope of work included targeted concrete crack repairs and chemical injection techniques to address water infiltration and structural degradation.

Key activities included:

Inspection and identification of structural cracks along the culvert walls and slab.

Surface preparation, cleaning, and sealing of visible cracks using specialized repair mortars.

Pressure injection of polyurethane or epoxy resins into active cracks to restore integrity, prevent further water ingress, and improve long-term durability.

Final restoration and surface treatment to ensure watertightness and structural stability.

This work was conducted as part of ongoing infrastructure renewal efforts by the Town of Oakville to maintain safety and improve stormwater performance in the area.
